Pricewarden: Bulk Edit & Rules

Support

info@hectone.com · Privacy Policy · Terms

Pricewarden is built and supported by a small EU-based team - you write to the people who wrote the code. Below: how to reach us, what to include so we can help fast, what to expect, and answers to the questions we get most often.

Before you apply changes. Pricewarden changes live data in your store, often for many products at once and sometimes automatically on a schedule. You use it at your own risk: review the preview, test large or unfamiliar operations on a few products first, keep your own export before big changes, and check the result in your store. If something looks wrong, use Undo first and then tell us. Warranty and liability are governed by our Terms of Service (sections 7 to 10).

How to get help

1. In the app - Report a problem

On any page of the app click the green Help & Support bubble in the bottom-right corner, choose New ticket, pick a category (Bug Report for anything that looks wrong, or Question, Feature Request, Billing), describe what happened and attach screenshots (JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 12 MB each, 5 per message). Your store domain is attached automatically, and our replies appear in the same window - a red badge on the bubble means there is an unread answer.

2. Email

info@hectone.com - for anything, including billing, privacy and data-deletion requests. Please write from the email address on your Shopify account so we can verify that the request comes from the store owner.

What to include

Response times

We answer Monday to Friday, Central European Time. We aim to reply within 1 business day; please allow up to 2 business days. Reports where a wrong price or stock level is live in your store right now are handled first - say so in the subject line. Support is in English (Croatian also works).

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my prices if I uninstall during a scheduled or flash sale?

Scheduled changes, flash sales and their automatic reverts are real price updates written by the app. When you uninstall, Shopify revokes the app’s access immediately: running and scheduled tasks are cancelled and your prices stay exactly as they were last written - a sale that was live stays live, because the revert can no longer run. Before uninstalling, cancel active campaigns (Jobs → Cancel, or the Campaign Calendar) so the revert is applied first. If you already uninstalled: reinstall within 48 hours - your history is still there and you can undo the task; after 48 hours all your data is deleted (see the Privacy Policy) and the prices must be corrected in the Shopify admin or from a CSV export.

How do I undo a change?

Open Jobs, pick the task and click Undo. The undo preview shows exactly what will be restored and skips products that were changed by something else after the task (you can undo those newer changes first, or force the overwrite on purpose). You can undo a selection of items instead of the whole task, undo several tasks at once, and use restore points (Settings) for larger roll-backs. The undo window is 7 days on Free and 14 days on Founding.

Why does EU Omnibus say “provisional” during the first 30 days?

The Omnibus “lowest price in the last 30 days” can only be proven from 30 days of observed prices. Recording starts the moment you install, so until a variant has 30 days of history its reference is marked provisional (in strict mode the app refuses to publish a reference it cannot prove). This is a cold start, not an error - it resolves by itself after 30 days.

What are the plan limits?

Free ($0): up to 250 products per task and 250 changes per day (undo, restore and revert tasks do not count), preview before apply, 7-day undo, catalog-health filters, price history for 7 days and CSV export - one field per task. Founding ($79/month, price locked in for as long as you stay subscribed): every feature - scheduling and flash sales with automatic revert, Price Guard, automations, multi-market pricing, 14-day undo, price history for 365 days. Plans are chosen on Shopify’s plan-selection page (Plans in the app) and billed through your Shopify invoice; you can change or cancel any time.

Which permissions does the app need, and why?

Products (read/write) for bulk edits; inventory (read/write) and locations (read) for stock rules and multi-location editing; discounts (read/write) for the discount features; markets (read) and publications (read/write) for per-market pricing and availability. The app does not request access to orders or customers.

Does the app change my theme?

Only if you add the “Omnibus Lowest Price” app block in the theme editor (Online Store 2.0 themes). The block reads price metafields the app writes to your variants and shows the lowest 30-day price next to sale prices; remove the block and the label disappears.

What happens to my data after I uninstall?

Sessions are deleted and all automations stop immediately; within 48 hours every record tied to your store is deleted. Reinstalling within 48 hours brings your settings and history back and does not restart a trial. Details, retention periods and how to request earlier deletion: Privacy Policy.
